To ensure compatibility with third-party compatible consumables, it is essential to disable HP Automatic Firmware Updates, HP Instant Ink, HP+ before your printer updates.
Turn off HP Automatic Firmware Updates during initial machine setup to avoid updated HP Dynamic Security locking out non-HP (Compatible) consumables for the life of the printer.
Printers with an "E" in their model name are specifically designed to work only with genuine HP consumables. Compatible cartridges will not function with these models.
